Program Benefits

Area Tours:
A tour will be scheduled with the relocation company to view the area. Specific areas can be targeted upon request.

Spousal/Partner Assistance:
As a complimentary service, FM Relocation Services will circulate the spouse’s resume within our network of corporate clients (in addition to the spouse/partner working with Employment Services on campus).

Home Finding/Sale Assistance:
The relocation counselor will recommend an experienced real estate agent in your area to assist in marketing your current home and provide expert assistance in finding a new home.

Rental Assistance:
Our in-house rental database has free information on over 250+ apartment communities in the Triangle. Personal drive-around assistance is available for a fee. Although our program does not cover rental single-family homes & condos, a list of property management companies is available.

Temporary Living Arrangements:
If temporary housing is needed at the new location prior to moving into a home, a relocation counselor will help you coordinate temporary living accommodations with competitive rates.

International Resettlement Services:
The Relocation Counselor will provide the transferring family with information on how to settle into the new community. This full service program includes: area overview tours; rental assistance & home-finding; securing social security cards & drivers licenses & other details of the resettlement process.

IMPORTANT!
To secure benefits you must register with FM Relocation Services PRIOR to contacting a real estate agent or buying/selling a home. Contracting an agent prior to registering with FM Relocation Services will jeopardize your cash incentive.
